With a sad look in her eyes, Ells shook her head and said “We won’t be able to open the door in the tunnel right now because–”

The Cuckoo’s Lullaby page: Hint 1
Each line of the song has a four letter word hidden in it, but you’ll need one of the other pages in this envelope to figure out how to uncover that word.
The Cuckoo’s Lullaby page: Hint 2
The Barrels And Flags guide explains how to score different pieces in Barrels and Flags, but those pieces look like music notes.
The Cuckoo’s Lullaby page: Hint 3
In the example on the Barrels and Flags guide, you can see how when a piece is above a word that you should collect the letter of that word that corresponds to the number of points that the piece is worth. For example, the piece above the word “BASIC” is worth two points, and Mr. Hincks has indicated that you should collect the second letter, which is A. Apply that same idea to the sheet music.
The Cuckoo’s Lullaby page: Hint 4
Each line of the sheet music has a grouping of four notes, and each note corresponds to a word in the lyrics. Collect four letters from each group, making sure to collect them from the top note to the bottom note as instructed on the Barrels and Flags page. For example, the lyrics in the first line, along with their score (from Barrels and Flags) are:
The = 3 = E
Lazy = 3 = Z
Day = 2 = A
Closes = 2 = L
However, when the letters are rearranged from top to bottom (on the music staff), the word ZEAL appears.
The Cuckoo’s Lullaby page: Hint 5
Starting from the top of the page, the circled words in The Cuckoo’s Lullaby are:
ZEAL
ZONE
ZERO
ZETA
ZIPS
ZEST
ZING
ZANY
Best Served Cold contents page: Hint 1
Fold the page in half along the indicated line.
Best Served Cold contents page: Hint 2
The eight words now aligned along the left side of the folded page are each missing something.
Best Served Cold contents page: Hint 3
When the page is folded, the chapter titles each contain one of the eight words that was found on the sheet music for The Cuckoo’s Lullaby. However, the words are all missing the letter Z.
Beginner’s Guide To Power Moves page: Hint 1
Mr. Hincks has suggested that you need to play a musical game in order to figure out what letter you are missing. The musical game is spread across the sheet music, and game guide, and the table of contents.
Beginner’s Guide To Power Moves page: Hint 2
Once you’ve played the musical game, you know that you are missing the letter Z. There is exactly one Z on this page; it’s in the “Do The Sun Stare” section.
Beginner’s Guide To Power Moves page: Hint 3
In the top right corner of this page, Mr. Hincks is indicating to place the contents page on top of this page. Overlay the contents page (after it has been folded) on top of this page utilizing the “Z” you found in the word “zap.”
Beginner’s Guide To Power Moves page: Hint 4
While the contents page is still folded, line up the “ANY” from the title of the first chapter with the “Z” on this page, so that the word ZANY is created. Then, follow the correct arrow in order to collect the word that the arrow is pointing at.
Beginner’s Guide To Power Moves page: Hint 5
You can figure out which arrow on the contents page to use by comparing the arrow to the lines that circle the notes on the sheet music. After you line up Z with ANY to make ZANY, follow the arrow that matches the line that is surrounding the notes that spell zany. On the sheet music, the very bottom set of notes spells out zany, so if you follow that line on the contents page, it points to the word “parrot.”
Beginner’s Guide To Power Moves page: Hint 6
In order of the contents page, the words collected are:
Zany = PARROT
Zeal = MENU
Zero = FEELS
Zest = NOODLE
Zeta = BURN
Zing = ACE
Zips = YO-YO
Zone = SQUARE
Burt’s Guide to Crushing It at Business: Hint 1
First, collect the eight words that the Beginner’s Guide To Power Moves page points to before starting on this page. Refer to the hints about the other pages in this envelope for info on how to collect these.
Burt’s Guide to Crushing It at Business: Hint 2
Once you know the “hippest buzz words” that Burt uses, reconstruct the Pyramid of Important Business Things using those words.
Burt’s Guide to Crushing It at Business: Hint 3
The words in the original pyramid are hip (at least Burt thinks they’re hip) synonyms to the ones that show up in the new pyramid. Compare the phrases in the top pyramid to the eight buzz words that you collected from the Beginner’s Guide to Power Moves page to see where they might fit.
Burt’s Guide to Crushing It at Business: Hint 4
The bottom pyramid is out of order. For the top row of the bottom pyramid, you’ll need two words: one that means “Greetings” and one that means “Navigation tool.”
Burt’s Guide to Crushing It at Business: Hint 5
From top to bottom on the bottom pyramid, the words are:
Greetings & Navigation Tool = YO-YO & MENU
Skilled Worker & Rule-Follower = ACE & SQUARE
Think Over & Echo Back = NOODLE & PARROT
Emotions & “Constructive” Criticism = FEELS & BURN
